SandRidge Santa Run

Jingle all the way through the streets of downtown Oklahoma City in the 2012 SandRidge Santa Run on Saturday, December 8. As part of Downtown in December, the SandRidge Santa Run includes a 5K race, a one-mile Fun Run and a free Santa Claus Kid’s Dash, plus a warm-up with Rumble the Bison and the Thunder Girls. This year, proceeds raised by the SandRidge Santa Run will benefit The Mentoring Project.

All runs begin and end at Leadership Square (211 N Robinson)

9:30 a.m. – 1 Mile Fun Run 
10 a.m. – Kids Dash
 

Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5k. The top three male and female finishers in each five-year age bracket will receive a medal.

Costume Contest

All runners are invited to dress up in their most festive holiday costumes for the races. Registered 5k runners who dress up in holiday costumes may qualify for the Costume Contest. After the race, show off your costumes to the SandRidge Santa Run panel of judges, and the top three picks will win cash prizes. First place receives $500, second place receives $300 and third place receives $200. Voting will take place immediately after the race.

5k: 
$35 (Nov. 1 - Nov. 30), $40 (Dec. 1 - Dec. 8)
Participants may also sign up at Leadership Square beginning at 7 a.m. on race day. 

1-Mile Fun Run:
$20 (includes race shirt)
$10 (no race shirt)
Family Pack (up to 5 participants): $75 (includes race shirts), $35 (no race shirts) 

Kids' Dash:
Free (ages 8 and under; pre-registration is preferred)

Online registration is closed, but you can always register at Leadership Square on race day from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.!

Packet Pick-up
Pick up your packets Friday, Dec. 7 from noon - 6 p.m. at Schlegel Family Store (905 North Broadway Ave.) or at 7:30 a.m. on race day at Leadership Square.
